Hide Facebook applications from your newsfeed

Mafia Wars, Farmville too much? Hide them and never see them again.

If constant updates from your friends about Facebook applications like Mafia Wars and Farmville are cluttering your Facebook newsfeed, then you can choose to 'Hide' them. No, not the friends' updates. The applications.

Hide the application and never see an update about it ever again. Just hover your mouse towards the parallel right of the update and you will notice a 'Hide' button appear. Click it and you will find two options:
- Hide FriendName
- Hide ApplicationName (eg. Hide Mafia Wars, Hide Farmville, Hide Friend of the Day)

Choose the second option and updates on the application from anybody will not appear. This is a great way to un-clutter your Facebook newsfeed and still get all specific status updates or Wall posts from your friends.
