Microsoft’s free service is a winner.
Microsoft Research has a brilliant tool to help you overcome mistakes you might make if English is your second language. And that is exactly what the tool is named – English as a Second Language Assistant.
Not only does the tool spot mistakes in your English and offer suggestions for improvement, but it also finds relevant examples through Microsoft’s Bing search engine. Those are displayed in the pie figure on the bottom-right of your screen (as shown above).
Microsoft Outlook Add-in
Users of Microsoft Outlook 2007 can download the ESL add-in to check for mistakes while sending out new emails.
The ESL add-in will connect with Microsoft servers and provide you suggestions to modify your English text.
