Work Real-Time With Microsoft SharedView

View, share and edit documents with upto 15 people using Microsoft’s useful tool – SharedView.


Here’s a Microsoft freeware that can allow you to view, share, edit and collaborate over documents in real-time with 15 of your friends – Microsoft SharedView.

You would require a Windows Live ID to use the tool. Simply install this free program on your machine, and it would appear as a toolbar on the top of your screen.

Create a session, and invite people to collaborate over documents that can be shared. You can also join existing sessions.

The tool is similar to what you can do in Google Wave, Google’s real-time collaboration service. The difference lies in one being a software, and the other a web service. Both, of course, require to be online to be used.
